My Vacuum is Mocking Me

I admit… I don’t vacuum as often as I should. Honestly, I think the dust bunnies have taken to building condos under my couch.
But I do vacuum in the kitchen. I have tile floors and have laid down one large commercial black rug. You know the ones; you see them in shops…. hard rubber backing with a sort of low pile textured top?
This rug is supposed to be designed so you can pick it up and shake it.. but with three dogs who invariable leave all sort of cookie bits, hair bits and drool bits everywhere it don’t work like that.
So I vacuum it…after I shake it and sweep it..
This is my vacuum. It has this neat feature

That little sucker has NEVER turned from red to green…
Never..
It’s mocking me in my attempt to keep a clean house with three drooly dogs…. three drooly, dirt loving, shedding (more than they should for short coated) dogs.
I hate that feature.
hahaha! I need to get another vacuum…. Mine died and my floors are in HORRIBLE shape. I go through so many vax its not even funny… Is that a good one (other than the mocking)?

If you should need some long dog hair, let me know. My aussie should begin shedding any moment now (not that she really ever stops). She used to bark, drool, and spit all over the car (loves to be in the thing but has a hard time not commenting on everything from my driving to our surroundings). The dashboard would get disgustingly slobbery. That stuff doesn’t just wipe off, either. Some of it would chip off (I don’t clean often enough either), and sometimes I’d just have to leave the cleaner at full strength and let it sit. Add longer hair in that mess, too. Ugh. Love the girl, she is my heart dog, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to kill her sometimes!

I can relate to everything except the cookie crumbs on the floor. My dogs manage to scoop up every molecule of people food that is dropped. It’s amazing how well they can troll the floor.

It’s actually pretty good.. but I hear the dyson’s are better.. I’m just not willing to spend the $$
You know, Kabbage, there are people who spin dog hair into yarn…. might be something to look into!
