I don’t quite know what to do with it.

So since the Mixed Breed Dog Club is kaput, I have this website out there… (Click it to see the real site)
And I don’t quite know what I should do with it. I mean it’s a really cool domain name but … well it’s just sitting there.
I know a good chunk of the problem is that I haven’t had time to really rehab it to make is a public site for mixed breed dog owners/lovers. I’m not really sure what kind of boards should be on it.
Right now, it’s mostly sports.. and sports I don’t know a heck of a lot about.
The domain name is expiring at the end of the month, so I guess I’m looking for some imput…
Do you all think there is any call for a website/forum for mixed breed dog owners/lovers?
Should I revamp it and open it up? If so, what kind of topics would you suggest?
Anyone want to volunteer to moderate topics I know nothing about?
Seriously, I’m a domain name junkie… I have WAY too many but I don’t like to give them up. I think I’m paying more for domain names than I am for my hosting.

I can’t give you any advice on this. I haven’t had a dog as a pet since I was 20–a very long time ago.
Perhaps you can ask yourself:
What kind of response did the site get when it was active?
Are there other sites/forums out there like it?
Do you mind paying for the domain for another year or two–just in case you get it up and running?
Are you willing to invest the time necessary to get it going?

Weell… the site didn’t do well when it started because it was primarily for people in NYS to form a Mixed Breed Dog Club in NY…. so it really hasn’t been opened up to the general public.
There are a MILLION doggie forums.. not sure how many are for mixed breed dogs only, though.
I guess I would have to think about it in order to give you good suggestions. But the layout and theme is AWESOME. I love it! Definitely don’t let that one go. I am sure you can come up with something great for it.

Thanks… I really had a fun time doing to the theme.. took me ages to integrate it into the content management software… but that is one of the reasons why I hate to shut it down.. it’s just too cool. Maybe, I’ll release the theme or something.
