		<description>My obedience instructor likes the stick because she can move the dogs head out (away from me) so that the but comes in, so the dog can stay straight.  It seems to work quite well. :)

		<description>Good post.  Its not TOOLS that hurt dogs, it&#039;s cruel or clueless PEOPLE.  Any tool can be used kindly and fairly - or abusively. The two-legger with the big forebrain is what makes the difference.

BTW - the Volhards have a good puppy evaluation test too.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s  very interesting test.   The idea is to take it as if your dog has never been trained...  for example, Qor wont&#039; jump up on people because we&#039;ve trained her not to.. but boy howdy she wants to!</description>
