I thought fruit was good for you?

It has been a bit of a stressful week around here. I’ve been trying to get a few things together for the Agility For A Cause auction. I’m donating a collar/leash combo from the Sew Crazy Dog Lady (who also happens to be me) and a Reiki Gift Certificate.

So, the collar/leash thingy has been done for a while, but I’ve been working on the wording for the gift certificate. I finally finished it up last night.

Just FruitSo, I get home from work today and voila, my Just Fruit Snacks are here. Fab. Considering the day I had, I was ready for a boost.

I’m munching away and these things are excellent! Slivers of apple are my favorite. Now, I’m tired.. and I bump my hand with the container in it.. and Poof! I know a piece of apple has gone somewhere.. can’t find it.. whatever.. I don’t care at this point.

Fast forward about three hours. I’ve been sitting my butt in front of the computer, updating the store , waiting for Shel to take a break. She’s teaching a class online, which means she’s lecturing with VOIP. Can’t make noise…

She takes a break and I’m ready to print my gift cerficates (you were wondering when I was going to get back to that, right?)…

Printer’s not working..

dammit…

It’s grabbing 1/2 the sheet but is jamming… omg.. I can’t take this day.

Long story short (too late)… after banging on that thing for the 15 minutes that I had to print, I get no where… I had to take the stinky thing apart.. my fingers are now multi-colored and my frustration level is exceedingly high.. but I was going to WIN! ! ! I knew it was sticky somewhere..

Oh yeah.. it was sticky.. there was a piece of dried apple stuck in it..

haha What are the chances of a sliver traveling to just the wrong place. Murphy’s Law in action.
