Would you like me to remove the shadows and put it on a plain white background for you?

Sure! If you want to… I’ve tried to do it with my “bargain” software.. Photo Pos Pro and I’m not getting a very clean look. My budget is really small, so if you have any software recommendations, I’d love to know what you think is good!

Jen adobe photoshop elements is a good program for $100. You can download a trial version from their website for 30 days to see if you like it.

hmmm.. I don’t know why I thought that was a part of a package and not a “full version”. I’ll have to try it!

Although I figured out the “layers” thing on this one..

I found you through Technorati (love that techie stuff!) and didn’t know you had linked to me. I hope you are enjoying the blog!

As for the shadows, you could try a soft filter over the flash and it might reduce the sharpness of the shadows. I don’t think they look bad, however.

One way to eliminate shadows is to have more than one light source. I use 3 utility lights, with Reveal light bulbs in them, and I don’t use the flash. I did spend the money last year to buy a light tent, which diffuses the light even more, but you might get good results with just the extra light sources.

If you’d like to see how my photos turn out, you can take a look at either of our blogs or our website. This link will get you to all of them.
